Books I'm reading right now:

What to Expect When You're Expecting by Heidi Murkoff, Arlene Eisenberg & Sandee Hathaway, B.S.N.

The Mother of All Pregnancy Books by Ann Douglas

The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy by Vicki Iovine

The Pregnancy Book by William Sears, M.S. and Martha Sears, R.N. (recommended to me by my nurse practitioner who read it during her pregnancy - and she is about my age)

Nutrition for a Healthy Pregnancy by Elizabeth Somer, M.A., R.D.

Your Vegetarian Pregnancy by Dr. Holly Roberts, D.O., FACOG (I'm not going full veggie but want to know super healthy alternatives)

Birthing from Within by Pam England, CNM, MA & Rob Horowitz, PhD

G. returned right before my "prime time" in
mid-August. On August 28th, Thursday morning,
I was 2 days late for my period.

What the heck, I thought, I'll just take a pregnancy
test because I had one First Response left over
and two Clear Blue Easy tests from February.

Positive. Each and every one of them. Two lines.

I saw a midwife I had been in touch with last
year for more prenatal vitamins and folic acid.
I set up an appointment with the local OBGYN
at the hospital (they can't see me for 2 weeks).

And I've been reading, reading, reading everything
I can get my hands on. I'm only a little over 4 weeks.
Still too early to tell everyone, and I don't want to
plan too much yet.

But in a way, I can't help it. Should I think of
names? No. But I want to know where a water
birth facility is in the area.

What I'll try to do here is to list books and online
resources as well as products that seem to work
well for me. Maybe that will be helpful to someone
else.
